CIPD Announces HRD Conference Programme
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has announced the programme for its annual HRD event, the leading conference and exhibition for learning and organisation development professionals which will be held at Olympia, London from 6-7 April 2011.
The programme calls on organisations and the profession to deliver more progressive learning and development solutions and build the organisational capability necessary to adapt in these changing times. It is a programme that aims to better equip the profession with the tools needed to add-value, demonstrate return on investment and through a deeper knowledge and understanding of the business, develop a solutions-focused approach to Learning and Development (L&D).
Designed to offer tailored solutions and practical advice to help delegates tackle their L&D and OD challenges, the conference programme focuses on 5 key topic areas, delivered in different formats to suit every learning style. Delegates can take a pick-and-mix approach, attending just a couple of sessions or the full two days depending on their organisational needs.
Key topic areas:
- Learning and talent development
Organisation development
Leading and managing the L&D function
Leadership development
Coaching
The HRD Exhibition runs alongside the conference, providing an opportunity to explore the latest products and services from leading suppliers. Free to attend, the exhibition includes a programme of 30-minute hot topic updates and a series of networking activities.
Members of the Work Place Learning Centre team are available to provide journalists and media organisations with expert comment on all aspects of learning at work.
